Hello, thanks to Mike Campbell, and welcome to my blog.  My interest is in using sql as an AI tool. 

I have always been fascinating in self-replicating machines, a` la Von Neumann.  Question:  What set of rules of a cellular automaton (CA) would be sufficient to replicate a sql engine, and in particular, let's say, SQL 2005?  Does anyone know of prior litterature on this?
