    Begginer

    Hello,
I would like to ask, if anyone can help me, what do I need to do as a beginner, to learn SQL and the concepts of databases.
I want to make my career as DBA or later maybe Developer.
And there is an ocean of information on-line and its hard to decide where to start. To understand the whole process.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Re: Begginer

I don't know if there is a "right" way to go about it.  I know that I took some classes in college and then got a job as a corporate analyst and learned that way.  I listened to our DBAs, asked them for advice as needed, and applied what I learned.  After two years I would say I am now "intermediate" and am looking for a Jr DBA level position.

    Good luck.
